Exhibition “Viva, Moscow!”, Timed to the 870-year anniversary of the capital. For these days, Moscow will turn into a venue where numerous concerts, processions, performances will take place, exhibitions devoted to this date will be opened. It is not the first time that the Moscow Union of Artists takes part in the celebration of the City Day. This year the Moscow masters celebrate the double anniversary – the native city and the 85th anniversary of the Moscow Union of Artists.
The exposition presents works by such Moscow artists as Aleksandrov SN, Gavrilyachenko SA, Dubov AI, Marts IA. , Poklad Ya.N., Polienko IA and others. They are works of various stylistic trends, united by the theme of the city.
Any metropolis, and Moscow even more, is a complex layering of temporary layers. But with all the grandiose changes of recent times, Moscow retains its historic spirit, an indescribable “Moscow” aura. And in many ways the efforts of the capital’s artists “splinters” of the past epochs should be preserved for future generations.
